| Central Unit Rotunda Massage
The
Central District has been coordinating the Rotunda Massage to support
our licensing effort during the winter months as our geographic location
makes travel less burdensome.
The Western and Eastern Districts coordinate
the massage during less troublesome weather months.
The massages occur on the 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 10AM -2PM
in the Rotunda across from the Cafeteria. The visibility and contact we
have made over the years has been
an integral part of our lobbying effort
on the Hill. This is an incredible opportunity to impact legislation at
a true grass roots level. On any given day, we may work on Senators, House
Representative, secretaries, maintenance men and house couriers, to name
a few, and all support us and our Bill.
Please consider joining us for a day at the Capitol in November, December,
January, or February. For your volunteer efforts we give you an AMTA t-shirt
and an education voucher for discounts on AMTA educational events. Three
times as a volunteer will get you
a $50 voucher, the next three times
another $50, and the next three, another $50.
